Valorant Diorama Statue

Valorant Diorama Statue printed by Sonic Mega 8K

Valorant is a PC-exclusive game first launched by Riot Games in 2020. It combines the classic first-person shooter game like Counter Strike, with a fantasy twist. In Valorant, each player will join a five-member team with either an attacking or defending position. What makes this game stand out from the typical tactical shooter games is how each character—or agent, as the Valorant called it—was equipped with unique abilities. With charging time between each outburst and an even more powerful ultimate ability that was charged through kills, deaths, orbs, or missions.

In July of 2021, Jisoo posted his takes on the Valorant’s agent, Killjoy. It got noticed by Riot Games Korea, and he was soon offered an opportunity to collaborate with them in celebration of Jett Day. As a total 3D printing enthusiast, Jisoo sculpted, printed, and painted all of these models all by himself! He included five other agents in the diorama—Chamber, Breach, Viper, and Sova to highlight the teamwork aspect of the game and how these other agents are supporting Jett.

Although it might look small in the picture, this diorama was actually created on a 1:4 scale! Printed on Sonic Mega 8K, Jisoo can easily squeeze in several different parts in one go, improving the efficiency of his work while still maintaining all of the details on the statues. Especially with five agents to work with, having a huge machine that allows you to print more at once definitely makes a ton of difference.!

Have you tried Valorant before? What level are you currently at, and who’s your favorite Valorant agent?

Vecna

Vecna printed by Sonic Mega 8K

Vecna is the ultimate villain on the Netflix series—Stranger Things. Throughout the series, it was revealed that Vecna was originally just a boy from an average family who recently moved to Hawkings. The boy—Henry, realized that he possessed a psychokinetic power that allowed him to see through the mind of living beings. He thought of humans as multiplying pests that corrupted the world, causing him to grow hatred towards humanity. When his mother got suspicious and tried to find help for him, he killed her, his sister, and later attempted to kill his father as well. After his offer to conquer the world was rejected by Eleven, he was then banished into the Upside Down and has since been killing kids and trying to open more portals in Hawkings for his returns.

Ricardo De Acha printed and painted this gruesome character on Sonic Mega 8K. All the veins details on his body are truly present and were beautifully painted.

Darth Revan

Darth Reva printed by Sonic Mega 8K

First popularized as the character of the role-playing video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Darth Revan—later known as Revan, was a former Jedi. He once left to lead the Mandalorian war but returned as Sith to the Republic to declare war. In his duel with the Jedi, he was later betrayed by his best friend Malak, who fired on Revan's flagship's bridge in an attempt to kill both Revan and the Jedi. However, Revan survived and had his memory wiped away by the Jedi Council, turning him back into the hero he is.

Barney Lee from 3DPrintFrog printed out the amazing Darth Revan from the Star Wars Patreon on his Sonic Mega 8K. Printed with a 1:4 scale at 20 inches tall, the level of attention given to this model is superb. Barney used lacquers and enamels to achieve the real metal look on the armor and installed a switch inside the head of the probe droid to light up Revan's iconic purple and red saber. It might take a lot of time and tons of masking tape, but for a result this good? It's totally worth it.

Steam Punk Skull

Steam Bunk Skull printed by Sonic Mega 8K

This impressive SteamPunk Skull was printed by Franco Carlesimo. Steampunk is a style that incorporates elements of 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. The term Steampunk was first coined in the late 1980s to describe a growing trend that combined historical and futuristic elements.

Like every other model sculpted by Franco, this model is also very well made with such a level of detail. Printed on the Sonic Mega 8K, the whole model can easily be printed in one go. No more splitting your artwork into lots of different pieces. It creates a completely seamless model while also saving you a lot of time. Franco often explores the gory theme with creepy-looking monsters when he is not sculpting cool action figures. Just take a look at his portfolio on ArtStation, and it’ll definitely tingle your nerves!

Bumblebee Helmet

Bumblebee Helmet printed by Sonic Mega 8K

Bumblebee is a much-beloved character in the Transformers franchise. He is known for his courage, loyalty, and ability to connect with humans. In the 1980’s animation, Bumblebee was depicted as the first Transformers that ever arrived on earth. He first took the shape of a Volkswagen Beetle before taking the form of a Chevrolet Camaro in the 2007 live-action movie.

This life-sized Bumblebee helmet was printed and painted by Patrick Denda on Sonic Mega 8K. With Sonic Mega 8K’s L33 x W18.5 x H40 cm printing volume, printing out even a life-size helmet this size is still super easy. Painted with a weathered finish, this Bumblebee helmet is an incredible artwork!
