The tinted plastic case is an important part of LCD 3D printers as it keeps the printing environment clean from dust and other unwanted particles that might curdle in the resin. Another new feature in the Sonic Mighty 8K is the adjustable feet to make leveling easier. Phrozen always aims to make LCD 3D printing easier and more accessible, therefore the front USB port is added for easy access on top of the Wi-Fi and ethernet options.
Now, let’s take a look at the technical parts of this printer. Like every other LCD 3D printer in the market, the Sonic Mighty 8K is equipped with an end-stop bracket, a descending sensor, a resin vat, and a dual linear rail. However, the key to its superior 3D printing performance lies in the machine's impeccable 28µm 8K resolution mono LCD and the laster frosted building plate to ensure print adhesion and a successful print.
Additionally, a camera is added to the enclosure along with a soon-to-be-released mobile application that would support live viewing and a remote control function for the printer. This would allow you to monitor your 3D printing progress from anywhere while also having the control to pause, stop, and start the print all from the comfort of your position. Quite exciting, isn’t it?
