Whether it’s huge car models like Hadrien’s or some prototypes and technical parts like the Innoptus team, it’s always satisfying to see these models forming and taking place.

But with great results also come great efforts.

Printing a large model often means a long and tedious printing time. On top of that, you might need to add more resins to your vat mid-printing, which, although seems easy, can easily be an issue when you have goldfish memory or you are rarely near your printer. But the issue doesn’t stop there. Cleaning and post-curing these big models often creates another problem as most washing and curing stations on the market are not big enough for these giant beasts you just produced.

So on this launch, we’ve prepared a one-stop-shop solution for your mega creations!

Sonic Mega 8K S: Top Quality And Affordable

Printing big starts with a big printer, so we launched the new Sonic Mega 8K S to both print big models and boost your minis production. With a large 15 inches, perforated build plate,  you can easily print up to 80 miniatures or one big models in one plate. Skip days of batch-producing your models and happily complete your model within one plate.

Pump & Fill — Automated Resin Feeder

Your mega print is halfway there, but you need to go out, and you are not sure if what’s left in the vat is enough to complete your print? Trust us when we say we know the feels.

When there are a few hours left on the timer but not much resin in the vat, it’s always a temptation whether you should add more resin and end up with a mega vat full of leftover resin or just finger-crossing that there’ll be just enough to finish the print.

With the new Pump & Fill system, you never need to worry again. It’ll give you just enough resin to complete your prints and suck the resin back into the bottle when there's a lot of leftover. This way, you don’t need to worry about pouring a mega vat full of resin ever again.

Even better, you can adjust all your settings directly from the printer’s touch panel thanks to its seamless, integrated system! But please note that the Pump & Fill is only compatible with Sonic Mega 8K S!

Wash Mega S — A 25L, Extra Large Washing Station

Now that you have your mega prints completed, it’s only convenient for you to have a mega-size washing station at hand. Here comes the Wash Mega S.

Equipped with double propellers, its double vortex is more powerful and will easily clean your models faster and cleaner. It also offers two cleaning speeds, a high of 300 rotations per minute and a low of 275 rotations per minute. But why bother with the settings?

Well, when cleaning a lot of small and delicate miniatures, you’ll want to go with the low settings as it’ll be safer for your breakage-prone model parts. However, when you are cleaning a gigantic figurine or a hefty prototype, you might want those propellers to rotate at their maximum speed, powerfully cleaning out every nook and cranny of your models.

Lastly, to keep everything as clean and safe as possible, we added a side valve so you can easily drain out whatever liquid left you have in your washing station (water/alcohol/Phrozen Wash), without needing to lift them up and pour them over.

Cure Mega S — Cure Big or Cure More

To accompany the Wash Mega S, here comes the Cure Mega S. Just like the Wash Mega S, the Cure Mega S was specifically designed to accompany your Mega series printers and complete your 3D printing setup. With a 360 curing light, dual fans, and extra interior lights to check out your model drying and curing state, it’ll make your drying and post-curing step super efficient.

In addition, we also include a removable rack so you can choose to print more smaller parts or one big model according to your needs.

Sonic Saber — Remove Any Support Effortlessly

Large models come with thick supports that are often a pain to remove. With the weight of larger models, it’s necessary to have supports that are strong enough to hold them steadily. This often results in big support marks that cause unwanted textures on your models. With an ultrasonic cutter like Sonic Saber, you can cut out these supports at the exact spot you want them to be, just like butter, and without leaving any marks!

With this complete mega-sized 3D printing workflow, you can create any large model prints with ease, all the way from printing to polishing. No more hassle washing your large models or trying to cure them out evenly under the sun. Just dunk it in your Wash Mega S, transfer it to Cure Mega S for convenient drying and curing mode, and remove all the remaining supports easily without leaving any mark with the Sonic Saber!
