Regardless, this article will show you everything included in your 12K Upgrade Kit’s box and all the essential accessories you’ll need for upgrading your Sonic Mighty 8K to 12K.

Inside Your 12K Kit Box

*Please note that the mainboard displayed above is for Sonic Mighty 8K and is not the one included in your 12K Upgrade Kit. The serial number of Mighty 12K mainboard is D100.
Upgrade your Sonic Mighty 8K to 12K with the new LED driver in the 12K Upgrade Kit. The LED driver will project UV light through the LCD screen across an entire layer at once.
LCD (with LCD Screen Protector)
Upgrade your Sonic Mighty 8K to 12K with the new LCD provided in the 12K Upgrade Kit. During printing, an image of each layer is generated on the LCD, while an array of LED chips project light through the LCD. The LCD screen protector is made of durable and high-transparency material to protect your LCD screen from the risk of resin spillage damage without affecting your prints.
ACF Film
Change your nFEP film to ACF film. The ACF film has a better release compared to the (nFEP) film, efficient in reducing the printing time and increasing the success rate.
LCD Frame Tape
This tape has been specially processed and molded, so you no longer have to cut the tape when installing your LCD screen.
LCD Ribbon Cable
The LCD ribbon cable is intended to connect the LCD to the mainboard.
12K Label
Don’t forget to change your 8K label to 12K after installing the 12K Upgrade Kit to complete the transition.
White Terminal Block
Extra pieces in case you lose any when removing the white terminal blocks from the mainboard.
Green Terminal Block
The green terminal blocks are intended to connect the power cable, fan cable, and LED driver cable onto the mainboard.
Flathead Screwdriver
The flathead screwdriver included in the upgrade kit is for unscrewing and tightening the flathead socket cap screws on the green terminal blocks.
Flathead Socket Cap Screws
The flathead socket cap screws are used to screw the power cable, fan cable, and LED driver cable onto the green terminal block.
