UV Resin Colorant Pack

Red|Blue|Yellow|Black|White

Mix Your Own Colors

Five highly concentrated colorants, 30ml each, formulated for UV resin, so you can mix your own shades. Add them to clear resin for transparent effects or white resin for solid colors.

Ten crystal cluster models printed with UV resin colorant in translucent red, blue, yellow, green, purple and more.

Crystal-Clear Colors Made Your Way

From gems and crystals to dice and special effects parts, tint clear resin and fine-tune the color and transparency to create the look you want.

Hand squeezing a Phrozen blue UV resin colorant bottle, with drops of blue colorant on a white surface.

Concentrated Color, Precise Control

The highly concentrated formula lets you deepen the shade a little at a time, so a small amount goes a long way. Each drop dispenses about 30% less colorant, making fine adjustments easier and color mixing more accurate.

Translucent color test strips in red, pink, blue, yellow, black and green, each showing lighter to deeper shades.

18 Color Formulas, Less Guesswork

Choose from the 18 official color formulas instead of mixing from scratch. Find the closest shade, then fine-tune it for your base resin to reduce repeated color tests and get results faster.

Create More with Colorant

  • Transparent

Gems, crystals, dice, stained-glass details, translucent prototypes, lampshades, and special effects parts.

  • Fill the Gaps

Skin tones, browns, earth tones, and special shades (Garnet Red, Jade Green, Coral Orange) that pre-colored resins rarely offer, all mixed on a white base.

  • Multi-Part

Print different parts in different colors, then assemble them into a multicolor model. The basic color scheme is built into the print, reducing the need for painting afterward.

Mixing colorant into resin, then the finished white figure with translucent red crystal wings. Gray resin printed fantasy bust with a glowing blue chest detail. Copper brown resin printed dragon bust rising from translucent teal waves. Multi-color resin printed character figure in an orange sweater and purple skirt. Translucent gummy bear prints in red, orange, green and blue with glass jars.

4 Steps to Mix & Print

  1. 1

    Shake & pour

Shake the colorant well. Pour a little resin into a cup to test the color.

  2. 2

    Add drop by drop

Add one drop at a time, stir well, and check the color as you go.

  3. 3

    Scale up

Keep your test ratio. Mix the colorant with a small amount of resin first, then scale up proportionally.

  4. 4

    Stir & print

Stir the resin thoroughly. Run a test print and adjust the exposure settings based on the results.

Choosing a Base Resin and Adjusting Exposure

Phrozen Aqua-Clear Plus 1kg resin bottle next to a translucent anatomical heart print.

Aqua Clear Plus

Highly recommended for clearer, more see-through effects. With colorant added, extend the exposure time by 0.3%.

Phrozen RPG Smoke 1kg resin bottle next to a detailed tabletop miniature of an armored creature.

RPG Smoke

Grayish white base for muted or custom shades. Testing showed little exposure change, so fine-tune to your results.

Phrozen ABS-Like Creamy White 1kg resin bottle next to a white twisted vase print.

ABS-Like Creamy White

Creamy white base for solid colors. Testing needed about twice the exposure time, so start with a small test batch.

FAQ

Can I use epoxy dye or alcohol ink instead?

Phrozen UV Resin Colorant is formulated for UV resin printing. Other dyes may affect curing or stain the release film. Use a colorant designed for UV resin and run a small test print first.

How much colorant should I add?

Add 1 drop at a time. Stir well and check the shade before adding more. Keep the total colorant at no more than 0.3% of the resin weight, as too much colorant may interfere with the curing process.

Do I need to adjust the exposure after adding the colorant?

You may need to. The base resin, color, amount of colorant added, printer, and model size can all affect the results. Check the exposure chart first, then run a small test print before printing the full batch.

Which base resin should I use?

For clear, see-through effects, start with Aqua Clear or Aqua Clear Plus. For solid colors, use a compatible white resin. Run a new test print and check the exposure each time you change the base resin or color.

Why use the UV Resin Colorant Pack instead of buying more pre-colored resin?

When you only need a small batch in a special color, you can color your own resin instead of keeping a bottle of every shade. The 5 colorants can also tint clear resin or fine-tune solid colors one drop at a time.
